Not a lot going on around these parts, just smiling since I saw one last Tropical Storm heading for the Baja. It looks like it will skirt across Cabo San Lucas, probably dumping a bunch of rain on
One of the neighbors over by the Blooms really gets going at Halloween. This guy makes giant monsters. While trick or treating the other night we rounded the corner and there had to be at least fifty people watching the show. There were giant spiders, one covering the entire garage roof, seven foot tall space aliens inside the garage, and crazy monsters all over the front yard. There was even a fire breathing dragon that blew flames out his mouth about three feet. We were told it is a hobby. They guy starts setting up at the beginning of the month. There is so much stuff, I can't imagine where he keeps it all the rest of the year. We were told that he sells these things occasionally. One sold for 20,000 bucks. That should keep him going for awhile. Some are made of stainless steel all banged out and shaped by hand, now that could be costly.
I feel fortunate my hobbies haven't taken over…..yet…more later..
