0824, Sat, 110213.  Rocklin, CA.

 

Tonight is the night to change clocks, that silly custom that has something to do with the farmers, ha.

Yesterday was a Costco run as well as a Home Depot stop.  The Depot was to pick up materials for some more work around the office building, the Costco run, well you know.  In order to transport the materials to Auburn we needed the old 4 Runner so there was a stop in there at the Blooms'.  It was Karissa's quality alone time, so she was in her bedroom entertaining herself and came out just long enough to say hi to us, so cute.

In the afternoon I prepped the boards and flashing we picked up at HD with primer and paint, then we headed off to meet with some friends in Auburn for dinner at Joe Caribe's.  Fish tacos were recommended so everyone ordered them.  I guess we had lots of catching up to do since we stayed around until about 8:30 just chatting about everything.

Once back at the homestead Sue and I gathered what was needed for work this morning and loaded the truck, then off to sleep.

The night was interrupted, first was overheating so I threw the blankets off.  Then it was time for a bathroom stop, then the phone decided to beep so I got up and plugged it in…..  Whew I was pooped when the alarm went off.  Sue tempted me with suggesting that I sleep in and skip karate, which I succumbed to without argument.  I just wasn't up to it this morning.  Things are better now, I'm rested, and we will be off to work right after breakfast…..more later..
