More on the fireplace and painting. The garage floor is now complete with two coats of paint and looking good. The fireplace, on the other hand, is a tough go. The mass of bricks and mortar are tough to get through. Nothing like the bricks up top the simply popped off with a couple of whacks with the hammer. Oh well, I will keep plugging along.
I forgot to mention that Ryan joined us for lunch the other day. We picked up sandwiches at Subway and gave him a tour of our progress on the house. He surprised us with one of our souvenirs from
This weather is something else, but with a hole in the roof they now predict rain for Monday. Guess I better get that hole fixed up before that happens….more later..
