We have been back on land now for six months. People ask, do you miss it? Some aspects yes, most aspects no. I miss the freedom of going where ever whenever, but it is a hard life. I guess the biggest burden is the weather. I think if we had lived aboard a small boat it wouldn't have been such a worry but then again I'm not sure we could have survived living in a space any smaller. We had lots of room to roam the boat and enjoyed every bit of it. It was time for a new adventure though and here we are.
I plugged the hole in the roof where the chimney was so we are ready for all the rain, ha. There is a prediction that we may get some tomorrow, just have to see about that. It's nice to have the garage floor finished, now we can start filling it up with junk.
Time moves on. We go to visit with a friend today who I used to work with, it is his 90th Birthday. Whew, now that is hard to believe. Well, time to get our day started….more later..
