Well, we did it, we are now officially owners of a house. It will be our job over the coming months to turn it into a home. Kind of scary really, but what the heck, a new adventure.
We were, appropriately enough, at Home Depot when we got the call to meet the realtor at the house to get the keys. Sue wanted a bag of potting soil, we picked up a bag of pellets for the pellet stove, and some other odds and ends.
Now to jump back to the start of our day. We were busy Thursday morning so we didn't get over to see the grand kids at our usual time so we dropped by for a visit yesterday. It was fun playing with the kids and chatting with Michelle. Then it was time to make our monthly run to Costco and load up the cart. Then time to head back to the apartment to unload the car and grab some lunch before heading out to Home Depot. So all in all it was a busy day for us, but that is what keeps you young…..more later..
