Not a lot going on around here, just kickin' back on the new year. Of course we tuned into the parade but whassup channel 3? Only an hour long coverage?? What could possibly be so important to see on TV not to show the entire parade. Then what was shown was mostly static, there must have been a traffic jam down the road since there was a lot of waiting while the emcees tried to fill in the empty air time, ha.
Of course it was packing day for the decorations leaving our living room looking a little bare. Not quite so easy as on the boat where we would simply tuck the one foot fake tree into a cabinet somewhere.
We also made a sight seeing tour down to Ikea's. Sue wanted to pick up a couple of storage bins for the new place. It was a lot of fun touring the store looking at all the kewl things one could get if one had an unlimited budget. The prices are very reasonable there making it even harder to hold tight to the wallet, but with only a few items more than what we came for we made our escape.
