Sue has finished with the scraping in the craft room. She has been removing paint from the trim with paint stripper and a scraper. The wood is bare now and is ready for paint. On to the fun stuff. I have been busy in the kitchen. I needed a box to make a passage through the roof for the skylight which meant I could use the new table saw once I got the electricity hooked up to it. After a little thought and another trip to the store I got it all hooked up. Wow, does it ever purr. Sue took pictures as the first piece of wood was cut with an absolutely smooth finish to the cut. Awesome. I made the box complete with rabbited corners and was on the roof in no time. The hole was made, the skylight was slipped in and before the day was out, the box was in place waiting for a few screws…..more later..
