0717, Fri, 022114. Rocklin, CA.

After a walk to school with Max on a crisp and clear day we headed back to the Bloom's. Sue entertained Karissa with lots of books to read while Michelle and I caught up on the current events of the day.
Then Sue and I went to Ryan's place of work and picked up the truck and hauled a hand ful of studs over to the house to start working on the skylight hole, no easy task. This hole goes from the flat ceiling to the slanted skylight which is not centered over the hole below. This makes for some really odd compound angles on both ends of each board that has to be the perfect length. Lots of time spent climbing up and down the ladder, making small adjustments to the cuts and trying to keep the odd angles in mind so you cut the proper end by the time you reach the saw. I got three of the corners done out of four (eight boards in all) spending the afternoon on just the one ordeal.
The evening was spent in the usual manner, watching the Olympics and rooting for the USA….more later..
