March, wow. Where does the time go. I got started on relocating the HVAC lines and build a couple of boxes to house the ends where they come through the ceiling. The first one dropped in quite well just as planned but the second was giving me some trouble. It was back in that corner where the roof meets the plate line. I finally called in the expert, Sue. She managed to squeeze herself back in there and with a few modifications to the box, it finally slipped in. Whew, she sure is a trooper.
During all this I discovered another gas line. It really puzzled me as I tried to figure out where it went. Finally it dawned on me, the heater, duh. This really complicates moving the line but after a lot of thought I think I have a plan. It will simply be one of those days with lots of trips to the store to get the right length of pipe.
In the mean time, Sue has gotten the craft room almost complete and after cleaning up in there it looks really great, exciting…..more later.
