0635, Thu, 031314. Rocklin, CA.

The gas line finally was cut. Yes, I finally did it. I put it off until it was in the way and couldn't wait any longer. Once cut, I could remove the unwanted pipe. One joint was really stuck tight. I tugged and tugged at the wrench and just when I was ready to give up a thought came to mind, a little trick I learned in La Cruz Huanacaxle, Mexico while working on the boat. I got out my torch and heated the joint. It slid apart like butter. Kewl trick.
The water was checked first thing. Even with the trouble fitting the joints together, not one leak. Wow, what a day. Maybe time to play the lotto. Maybe Beth's birthday is my lucky day. Thanks Beth.
We headed over to watch Karissa as Max has minimum days all week. Sue stuck around the house and said Karissa got up to go to the bathroom, then decided to sit on the top step since something was diffferent. Sue gave her the dickens and she was off to complete nap time. Kids are so funny.
We did some running around in the afternoon and may have found an oven at Restore. We ran across Tertia and did some catching up with her. The oven looks good, especially at 70 bucks. We shall see how it runs once we get it home….more later..
