We had a busy run around day. We started off by picking up the truck and heading over to Home Depot. With a handful of miscellaneous materials and 18 sheets of drywall in the back of the truck we were on our way over to the house. Sue and I unloaded the drywall into the garage, dumped the miscellaneous stuff and returned the truck. Next stop was Auburn to pick up a tool that George Remaley had saved from the Meadow Vista sale, my old drywall screw gun. Next were a couple of stops to check out what was available in hardwood stores. Funny thing. There aren't many stores in the area yet Auburn has two. They were both pretty well stocked but it looked like the one on Nevada Street was a little more in line with our needs for making cabinets. Now we have to figure out what kind of wood we want.
We got in a Costco run and then for the final stop of the day it was surgery time. Just an out patient procedure to remove more around the spot on my neck. All should be ok once I heal...more later..
