0635, Sun, 042714. Rocklin, CA.

Yesterday went off without a hitch thanks to the help from Ryan and Eric. The trailer was all loaded with junk as Eric and I headed to the drop point. Rocklin has a dump day, free to dump your stuff once a year. I think we were one of the first to show up. They had huge bins lined up in a row, each one for a different kind of stuff. It was kind of hard getting the stuff over the ten foot wall to the bin but heck, it's free. In no time at all we were done and on the road.
Next stop was to Restore to pick up the slabs of wood that will become our new counter top. The fork lift operator wasn't there so Eric came up with the idea to put a pallet jack under each end and slip the wood out to the door. From there it was a strong arm job with five of us working together, no problem. The wood fit perfectly in the trailer and I was ready to go but the worker remembered we had some tile to pick up as well. It was soon loaded. Ryan met us at the house and helped with the unloading, a days work well done.
I hooked up the fridge while Sue did some yard work then we both tackled the light fixture/fan over the bed. I think things are ready for the move in….more later..
