With all the waiting on AT&T (a window was given of anywhere between eight in the morning to eight in the evening and still a no show) it turns out that we were waiting on ourselves. They told us to wait around for a technician then put us down as self installation. I guess someone simply had to flip a switch somewhere so there was no real need to stick around for anyone at all. Crazy.
Speaking of crazy, the well known Crazy Mc Nazy from the Dr. Suess books lives right outside our dining room window. In fact we have two nests, one outside the master bedroom as well, and both full of babies. The mom and pop swoop in as the little ones' heads pop up with their mouth wide open trying to be the one that gets fed first. Mom and pop seem to be on to their little tricks as they push past the tallest and make sure everyone get fed.
I have made progress on the biggest face frame of all, the island. It is all cut out waiting for mortises to be cut next. Sue has rehung the plastic to keep the dust out of the rest of the house and progress moves on….more later..
