I started out in the attic to figure out how I had wired the fan that is over the stove. Funny how once things get covered up you forget what was in there. It took a bit of figuring just how it would be done but I got it figured out. Then there was another switch box to figure out. All this was going on so the oven could get placed. Well, somewhere along the line I wanted to see how much clearance I would have around the oven to see if a full size switch box would get in the way. I found a dreadful miscalculation. I had somehow gotten the wrong measurement for the oven height. The rest of the morning was spent cutting out the old shelf and moving it down several inches to accommodate the oven. I think it will work out just fine, just wish those little things didn't come along to slow the forward progress.
Kids came over for their Monday afternoon visit and were so anxious to head out to the playhouse they almost didn't want to do their project. Sue had them glueing fuzzy balls to the top of a clothes pin and putting googly eyes on them. Very cute….more later..
ps: We leave for a much needed break tomorrow morning as we head to Disneyland for 4 days with the Blooms. So forgive the blogger for a few days rest.
